We'll send teachers to public schools at Sebira Island

The lack of teacher in Sebira Island, Seribu Islands, has received a serious attention from Jakarta Vice Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama. The former regent of East Belitung promised he would send teachers to the island soon.

"We'll send teachers to public schools at Sebira Island," said Ahok, at City Hall, Tuesday (9/23).

He disclosed that actually the number of teacher in the capital is abundant, but its ability still considered inadequate.

"That's why, we hope the upcoming CPNS recruitment could be allocated for teacher sector," he expected.

He argued if the teacher intends to educate the children in Indonesia, they must be willing to be placed anywhere, including in Sebira Island, Seribu Islands.

"All teachers must be willing to be placed anywhere, likewise with me as long as I can still see the National Monument (Monas)," he exclaimed.
